Jiacheng Zhuo, a passionate pianist with extensive performance experience, he explores the artistry of piano manufacturing as the manager of RIPPEN. He believes that each instrument's soul enhances musical expression, aiming to unite performance and craftsmanship for a deeper connection with music.
As his greatest passion, he has self-taught in piano recording and established a professional recording studio, Vivian. He is dedicated to assisting students in recording performance videos, ABRSM examination videos, and professional footage for music conservatories. He has a deep appreciation for diverse sounds, and the studio is equipped with two nine-foot pianos, a Steinway and a Yamaha, allowing for various recording techniques to maximize the authentic reproduction of music.
Benefiting from his parents' profession in piano repair and manufacturing for 30 years, he has harbored a desire since childhood to comprehend the entirety of the piano, transcending mere performance to delve into its profound allure. He aspires to explore the intricate mechanics behind sound production through string vibrations and to understand how the materials and design of the soundboard influence the piano's tonal quality. Seeking piano manufacturing and customization is his enthusiasm.
In addition to his piano performance, he dedicates his leisure time to teaching students aspiring to pursue a career in piano. He has previously delivered a lecture at Renmin University of China, representing the Mannes School of Music.
